James shared a little bit of the history behind this truck and I'll let James tell it himself.

"If possible,  I'd like to add some information to my picture!  I bought my 1965 Chevy back in 2001 for  $7,000. I  replaced the old 350 with a 330 crate motor; the 350 tranny  was updated to a 700R4, I left the 411's in until I can replace them with 370's!  The front-end is all new with disc brakes and a  2 1/2 drop.  It has Ididit steering and Vintage air.  All that is left  are cosmetics.  Hopefully I will finish the truck before our grandson get's too old!  This whole project was a dream!  It started back in high school..  Later on in my adult life I had a son named Joseph who passed away in 2001.  THANK GOD for 19 wonderful years!   Joseph was my inspiration.  He loved rod's too!   When he passed away unexpectantly, I received a settlement.  With this settlement I used a portion of it to purchase the 1965. Joe and I always wanted to purchase a classic vehicle.  This was a dream which we always shared together.  This was a gift from JOE, if you can understand that!  And I know Joe would have liked it very much.  Our truck is very sentimental to us.  My wife Emily & I enjoy the shows and go when we can!   Thank you for letting us share this with you."   James & Emily
