History of the O.F.C.C.

In 1992 several friends gathered at a local coffee shop and were discussing the "Good Old Days", which primarily centered around "Hot Rods". In short order they decided to form a car club, and given their ages, they named it the "Old Farts Car Club".

The members of the OFCC are not only from Wasco, but from Bakersfield and Buttonwillow. We presently have about 60 "mature automobile enthusiasts" in the club.

We have our "Bobby Sox and Blue Jeans" car show at Wasco High School the first Saturday in June. The proceeds from the car show benefit the Wasco High School Foundation, Make A Wish Foundation and the American Cancer Society.

In 2005 we donated in excess of $10,000.00 to these charities.

After the 2005 car show (July 20th to be exact) an ambitious club member volunteered to create and maintain a web page for the car club. You are now viewing a small portion of the on going evolution of the O.F.C.C. of Wasco!
