Dear Members,

                 Here is a update of the Club from the Presidents view.

         I have had several members make the statement that this is the best car club

         they have ever been in. To hear this about our club makes me feel very proud of

         all the members as you are the ones that make the club. Not only am I glad to

         hear this, I am in total agreement that we have the best members and the best

         group of people around. I know I don’t say this enough but I will take the time

         now to Thank You as members for all the cooperation and camaraderie. I know for

         sure that when we all go to the car shows and get together as a group, whether

         just setting around by the cars or out to dinner in a restaurant we have fun. I have

         been told by other car groups that they have never seen another club that sets

         around and laughs and talks as much as we do. Again my hat is off to the members

         of this club. On a personal note, I would like to thank John Scherer and Danny Carter

         for rewiring my coupe while my hand was healing from the fall I took. Thanks Guys!!

         A person could not ask for better friends and fellow car club members. Although when

         you turn on the headlights the wipers start working, turn on the wipers and the flashers

         come on. To get the radio to work you have to push the flashers on. Once you get

         used to this it is not so bad. They also but one button in there and painted it red and

         told me to never push it. So far I haven’t pushed it, afraid to. I also would like to thank

         all the wives that put up with us and our cars. I think they have figured us out that

         we refuse to grow up. Ladies Thank You. And for you Ladies that have your own

         ride, I Thank You also.

         I hope we continue to be the best car club in WASCO and BAKERSFIELD.
